How To Fit or Full Screen a Video or Movie in Laptop with 1280x800 Screen Resolution

Last year, I bought an Acer Laptop because I wanted to have an own computer. The Laptop I bought have a rectangle screen 1280x800 Screen Resolution. The problem with that rectangle screen is, the videos and movies I watch do not fit on the computer's screen even if I set the Windows Media Player to Full Screen mode. The Movies are Half Screen and have black spaces above and below the movie.

The problem was solved very easily. The solution was to download a media player called VLC or Video Lan Client MultiMedia Software.

To fit the video or movie on Laptop's Screen, you need to follow the steps below:

  1. Install the VLC Player Software (downloadable at www.videolan.org)
  2. Play the video or movie using the VLC Media Player
  3. On Menu Bar, Go to Video > Aspect Ratio and select 16:10. You can also go to Video > Crop and select 16:10.
  4. Now, you can watch movies in fully Full Screen mode.
