You can browse the net in your iPod using Safari Web Browser software via Wireless Lan or WiFi. When you are browsing the net thru your iPod Touch, the sites look like what they are supposed to be, same as what you see in your computer. But if you open a website that has a mobile or iPod version, the site will show only simple HTML.
One of the major problem when you are browsing the net thru Safari in iPod Touch is it doesn't load Flash Media files such as swf, flv and other file types that are related to flash. This is because Safari doesn't support Adobe products. This will only be available if Safari and Apple will support the Adobe products.
If you want to play flv or swf files in your iPod Touch, just download them to your computer and convert them to MP4 or MPG format then upload it to your iPod. That's the best way to do!
